Winter Classes- 2017

LET’S DRAW!(Recommended ages 6 to 12 years)

Students will exercise their observation skills by learning the sight-size method of drawing as they draw from pictures and still life. Emphasis will be on correct proportion and modeling form. Students will progress through pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, pastel, acrylic, and watercolor techniques at their own pace. All materials provided. min 2 / max 6.

Spring Classes- 2017

Section 1

When: Tuesdays, 7:00 to 8:00 pm, March 21 to April 11 Cost: $60 for 4 classes, art supplies included

Section 2

When: Wednesdays, 4:30 to 5:30 pm, March 22 to April 12 Cost: $60 for 4 classes, art supplies included

Section 3

When: Thursdays, 4:30 to 5:30 pm, March 23 to April 13     Cost: $60 for 4 classes, art supplies included

Section 4

When: Thursdays, 7:00 to 8:00 pm, March 23 to April 13     Cost: $60 for 4 classes, art supplies included 

Section 5

When: Saturdays, 11:30am to 12:30 pm, March 25 to April 15                                                                                                  Cost: $60 for 4 classes, art supplies included                                                                                         

STILL LIFE OIL PAINTING CLASS FOR ADULTS

In this class, students will learn about the essentials for creating dimensional, life-like oil paintings, including shape, composition, value, edges, and color temperature.  We will also examine the practical issues of color mixing and basic color theory.  All experience levels, including beginners, are welcome!  min 2 / max 6.
